The Design Build Process

At DBC, Design and Construction work collectively with every client in our fast pace world with seamless integration to save time and money. The lengthy process of first retaining a designer, bid the construction and then mobilize to build the project takes entirely too long. The Design/Build concept, although fairly simple, is still relatively new but is becoming more popular because it produces a better project at lower cost. DBC's process from design to move-in with our experience in design makes us the leader in the industry.

The process begins when the client has a space to build or renovate. DBC's team of designers and builders will create a plan that will maximize space and present a new professional image for your clients and employees while functioning efficiently.

Once your design is approved, DBC will bring in its team to begin the “build” or construction part of the process. Your space will be transformed, furnished and ready to move-in.

Owner's Representation/Project Oversight

DBC's collaboration of construction and design experience is the key to flawless build-outs with an eye for fit and finish including the most challenging custom details.

Coordination from the client’s design to it's implementation within a timely and cost effective way requires review throughout the whole project. DBC has established a supportive team to complement the construction process from value engineering to construction document review, client representation, and oversight during the entire build, through completion of the final punchlist.

Our team of experienced designers and project managers with extensive construction field knowledge work with the architects, engineers, interior designers and/or information technology personnel to constantly review details, establish budgets with alternates and critical schedules.BC’s team will remain on the job until every phase of the construction is complete and meets with the client’s satisfaction.

Design

DBC has the professional experience, knowledge and resources to make your new interior look spectacular. Creating an image is our forte. From the front door and throughout the space, we can project your desired image.

DBC's collaboration of professional designers assist and support our client’s requirements. We will work with our clients to determine what look will best illustrate their image. In addition, DBC will produce 3D renderings to depict what the new space will look like.

DBC will then present different flooring, furnishing and wall covering options to choose from, so the client can select not only what look suits their needs, but also their budget. Once the picture is complete, DBC's team will bring the vision to reality.

Construction

The most challenging part of any project is to responsibly manage the intricate and time-consuming details of construction.
With a select group of general contractors and subcontractors, DBC is able to put any construction job, large or small, in the hands of highly qualified and efficient companies. Once the job is underway, DBC’s professional team will be on hand to represent you to ensure the job is being done properly and within the time and budget promised to the client.
